Good places for maternity shoot?

Hey I live in the metro Detroit area and I was wondering what are your recs for good photo shoot places? The only one i can think of is downtown, the riverwalk, etc. I'm open to traveling but not VERY VERY far

    When I had mine a couple years ago, all of my outdoor shots were taken in Downtown Plymouth and they were really cute.  My favorites were pictures of me just positioned on a bench, in a doorway, or window shopping outside of a baby store.  I'm not sure where you are located, but most local downtowns will have some nice areas for photos.

    You could probably get some nice pictures at any park or playground too.

    Ditto on downtown Plymouth.  I also love various places/parks on Hines Drive and downtown Ann Arbor.  You might try Henry Ford Estates in Dearborn, too, although I'm not sure if the grounds are open to the public at all times.

    I am doing family photos this fall at Maybury State Park in Northville and have seen some great samples around the park!!
