Itchy skin?

Has anyone had issues with itchy skin? Lately I feel like I itch all over! It's not constant, but intense when it strikes, It's mostly on my belly, hips, boobs, and butt, but also sometimes arms and legs. Anyone else? I recently had a bad heat rash so it could be remnants of that, but that was mostly on my back and neck.

Re: Itchy skin?

  • Those are places where you're body is growing, which is making it itch :)

  • I don't think its all growing skin.... there is a lot of dry skin associated with pregnancy too. I have had the itchy belly and boobs but I get random itch attacks on my face, arms, legs.... pretty annoying!!

  • This is about when you start to itch, just put lotion on. Thats what helps me.

  • I've been having trouble with eczema.  Eucerine lotion is really good.  If I forget to use it, I regret it!
  • My itchy legs started awiule ago.  Very annoying.  Glad to know this is fairly normal during pregnancy.
  • So glad to hear others have this too! I was starting to feel like I was going crazy! I'll stop off at Target and get a better lotion I can try applying all over today. Thanks ladies : )

  • I had a problem with dry skin not too long ago ( after BFP). It was so bad my skin was flaking. I tried a bunch of lotions but the one that finally worked was Aveeno ultra healing lotion. It's kinda pricey, $12 for a fairly small jar of it but it works great!
  • i was itchy in the same places and those are the places i've also gotten bigger.  hooray for stretch marks!  ugh.
