Ob who delivers at Winter Park?
I am looking for some more suggestions for ob doctors who deliver at Winter Park hospital...I've scoured the board and have learned the Winter Park Ob may have some issues... Anyone else? I really want to deliver there as it's close to home and the brand new unit is really nice... Thanks in advance!

I delivered there...my doctors were with OB Gyn Care Group. I didn't like Dr. Wilson who practiced with them but I think he may be gone now? Dr Cascio is a sweetheart though. Good luck!
ETA: My experience with Winter Park Hospital's baby place was before the renovations but even then I loved it.

I go to OBGYN Care Group. Dr. Wilson is no longer there due to health issues. All the ladies are super nice! I love them.

Dr. Bernard Despres. His office is right next door to the hospital.I cannot say enough good things about him. After having been to a few dr's after my daughter was stillborn I was looking for a dr. that would 1) be compassionate to my situation 2) when the time was right, make the right decision if needed to save the baby (my last ob didn't listen to my feeling that something was "not right" and it was too late
My son's delivery was a miracle. I credit Dr. Despres for closely monitoring me and taking action in getting him out. Also W park has a new L&d unit. The nurses were fab! Hope this helps.

what issues have you heard of winter park OB... I have been going there for years and would not want anyone else to deliver me...there is one doc there that is kinda strange, but the rest I have seen several times.
I go to Premier OBGYN in Maitland and they are AMAZING. They deliver at Winter Park and their offices aren't too far away from the hospital. I honestly can't say enough good things about them...not just the doctors but their office staff as well!

I'm sure you will be fine! I just did some reading on the boards here. Also researched some of the names by googling. Dr. Moore there seems to be very well liked . Good luck!
