My Highs:
I got an awesome tan on our boat on Friday and Trent now wakes up yelling "Hi" which is hilarious.
My Lows:
My tan is only on my back because I feel asleep and didn't turn
and Trent's favorite binky was lost from Friday until Sunday afternoon.
Re: Let's play High/Low from the weekend....
Low: Sophia is teething and was soooo cranky this weekend.
High: We had a great day on the boat yesterday afternoon and she actually did not fuss the whole time.
Highs:
I got to visit some friends and spend a lot of quality time with DS. My brother is in town and I'm excited to see him. I also found a Motherhood outlet about 45 minutes from my house and got two sweater jackets for $30 total. Score!
Lows:
DH worked all weekend and we barely saw him.
Lost binkys are no fun
.
High: We babysat a friend's children on Saturday night. It was so much fun and DH was awesome with the 2 1/2 year old. It made me look forward to seeing J at that age.
Low: family stuff - My mom had gastric bypass surgery recently and has had some complications. I've vented on here before and it's too much to go into all the details. Sometimes family sucks.
I remember....hope things start to get better for you!
low: we got a phone call this weekend that my uncle had a heartattack while at the race in Bristol. luckily he is going to be fine, but what a scary call! and DS is cutting his top teeth
high: i got to sleep in yesterday!
High: Family reunion this weekend. Tons of family and fattening southern food.
Low: J is on a constant whining streak. I hope this is just a phase.
Aw, thanks. That really means a lot.
High: We saw Counting Crows play on Saturday night, and Nora was a peach. She fell asleep on the blanket (it's a venue where you can sit in the lawn with a picnic--no smoking, child-friendly, etc.). She stayed asleep through all of the noise, didn't wake when I transfered her to her crib, and then slept an hour later yesterday morning. That meant that I slept later too:)
Low: Nora has decided to start throwing every food that isn't a blueberry onto the ground when I try to feed her. I miss my adventurous eater!
High: Celebrating Audrey's 1st birthday. The day was more than perfect and she has a blast!!
Low: Dealing with my MIL as usual!
Highs: I was finally able to clear out the extra room that has been the dump-all since we moved in June, and my father-in-law gave us two ice chests of shrimp!! (That's like $200 or more worth of shrimp)
Lows: We had to peel all that shrimp.
One of my closest friends had a miscarriage
. She's been through SO MUCH lately and I can't imagine how she's feeling.
Highs: DH G and I went out to Mexican and then on Saturday I flew home for a quick trip to my hometown for my BF's wedding shower.
Lows: I came home to my place in my hometown to find that a tornado came though the area and our place was w/o power for a few days. ?I had to toss everything in my fridge and freezer. ??
DH: 31, no issues

8/2012 Surprise unmedicated BFP!! Due May 8, 2013
High: the end of our first very successful trip with the baby. He loved the beach, NYC and meeting his Great Grandma
Low: coming home. Isn't the end of a vacation always such a bummer?
Ugh!! That's the worse! When Katrina hit, I was a freshman in college (read that as POOR) and had just went to the grocery store when the storm came. I seriously cried with each thing as I tossed it in the trash. It turned out okay though because my mom and daddy spoil me. When everything was back to "normal" they took me to Wal-Mart to make a big grocery bill and picked up the tab.
