Salad. I can usually put down a few forkfuls of a green salad with lots of veggies. Then I know that I'm getting important nutriants, but it won't be super filling and make me feel gross.
Its about all I'm eating these days :-/

Just don't eat Rice Chex... made that mistake this morning... lol jk It seems my vomiting antics are not selective about what I eat. Sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't.
But my theory going into it was that Rice Chex are pretty plain and simple so I thought it would be a safe haven.

On Saturday the only thing that sounded good all day was chicken mac 'n cheese w/ broccoli. Yesterday the only thing that sounded good was pasta with veggies, sauce, & meatballs. Oh man, I am getting extremely nauseous just thinking about that stuff now.
Today I brought lunch but at the moment the only thing that sounds good to me is a BLT sandwich and ginger ale.
Basically I just run through as many foods as I can think of and if my brain latches onto one that sounds really good, I move heaven and earth to have that specific food and take advantage of my appetite for it.

i was trying to agree with someone but i dont know how to do it like you guys do with the little message bubble so whoever posted that i was just tryin to agree... lol
I have wanted fruit since the beginning, so sometimes, that's all I have because that's all I can get down. Mostly pineapple and oranges are all I want. I was also on a grilled cheese kick for about a week, so I ate grilled cheese and oranges once or twice a day. Just try to stay hydrated, so you feel a little better, water & Crystal Light have also kept me going. GL!

I was rather upset. And now I think my love for Rice Chex is forever tainted.

The only foods that are a constant for me are pineapples, red/green grapes, boiled eggs. I can eat those everyday & feel fine. Of course ginger ale. I need to try adding crystal light to my water (thanks pp) bc water is not my friend right now.
I did grilled cheese all wknd & can't eat that anymore. Then moved on my peanut butter sandwhiches...over those too. Oh, I can eat turkey bacon too. Not sure what this week's menu will be. Got breakfast covered & lunch is usually a repeat of breakfast, but dinner is always a struggle.
As far as fruits go, the sweeter fruits don't agree w/me. I can eat the tart fruits. Thanks (pp) for the idea about oranges. I will try those this week.
In the past I had a very high protein diet. I loved steak and chicken etc. Now I will order it thinking it looks good and can only eat a bite or two before my body saying "uh, no you don't really want that". I found that if I eat lots of veggies with small amounts of added stuff (sour cream, mayo, dressing) that I do fine. Either I am at the starting point of morning sickness or I have a very picky baby on my hands I have never been a picky eater! Another easy thing to eat has been soup. I had cheddar broccoli yesterday and I ate the whole bowl. I wish you luck. Try eating smaller meals more frequently throughout the day. like 6 meals a day.

I'm sitting here having that very debate with myself. I know I need to eat something, but ugh. Nothing sounds good.
Maybe toast w/ peanut butter? Get some protein, but it's reasonably mild.
green grapes, pretzels, yogurt, mac & cheese, sandwiches
Burned out on cottage cheese, chicken noodle soup, granola bars (just typing these items makes me want to gag).
The grapes have been a staple, especially cold. They just seem fresh and are slightly tart.

Yogurt has been my go-to... I have some of the GoGurt (the simply kind) in the freezer, and some of the kid-size 4oz. store brand kind in the fridge.
Also, any fruit that's juicy - especially watermelon and pineapple. Yum!
I think I might make some banana bread this afternoon, we'll see how that goes.
Hope you're feeling better soon!!!

I thought Crystal Light was one of the "foods to avoid" because of the NutraSweet/aspartame?
the only thing i can stand today
