"Close the door mommy, I need some privacy" huh?

So my son is 3, and he's so independent, sometimes I secretly wish for him to be little again. Yesterday, he went to the bathroom, was so quiet I had to check on him. He was having a bm...hmm he usually says "I need to doo doo, or use the bathroom or something like an announcement." I left the door open as usual. This time he says, "close the door mommy, i need some privacy, i'll call you when i'm ready." WHAT? i said inside, but i had to smile and close the door (a little). He said all the way! wow, my baby is no baby.

DD does the same thing...I'm proud of her for being such a big girl but it also breaks my heart just a little that she can do so many things on her own now.

Carson does the same thing, "Close da door mommy, i need pribacy please" he even tries to wipe his own bottom.......so cute!

btw, i haven't been on any of these bds since 2006/2007, so confused by the pts when did that happen?? i thought this was the nest!

haha.... my DS wants to use the bathroom alone. everytime. he says "walk out mama?" and i wait right outside the door. i think that it's funny, but he is also much more productive when alone!
