2nd tri energy isn't a total myth

I'm still not anywhere near my old self, but am definitely improved over the last few months.  This weekend I finished painting the nursery windows and ceiling trim.  We installed the crown in about an hour and a half (ladder climbing was about to be the end of me, but thankfully there were only 8 boards).  Now I just have to empty and then paint the closet (it's still tangerine which looks painful when you turn on the bare bulb light overhead).  I started emptying closets upstairs to logically organize things better around the house.

By Sunday evening I was exhausted, but it was nice to be able to get things done.

  • Glad to hear that because I was starting to think it is a myth! :)  So, when did you start getting more energy? I'm still waiting for it!

  • I'm still waiting for it too! I wouldn't say I'm quite as exhausted as 1st Tri, but I haven't been able to sleep very well, so I'm sure that's not helping!

Good job being productive on the baby's room though! I got one wall painted this weekend and quit :)

  • I think I actually have LESS energy than in 1st tri but the nausea is easing up so I am ok with that trade off!

  • I agree- it's not a myth for me either.  I started to get my energy back about 2 weeks ago and I am loving it!  So is my husband, who was getting bored with me going to bed by 10pm every night.  Woohoo, I can actually make it to midnight now!  :)

  • That's great! Mine is slowly coming back now. If only I could stop waking up at night to pee........ I think that would help!
  • That's good to know! You had a very productive weekend...good for you. Smile I can't wait for that kind of energy again!

  • I could feel my energy start to pick up around 13 weeks or so as well and then I got a nasty stomach virus so it's been back to NO energy : ( The good thing is, the morning sickness is completely gone! I will be happy to stop being sick so the energy can come along too!

It was about 2 weeks ago that I finally was able to do anything.  I still get tired quickly, but at least my weekends are a total waste any more.
