It is more of a day to day of what is going on with the baby's development with tips on nutrition. It has some space for actual journaling but not a ton. I tend to write little notes in the margins too.

I have this one too and had it for DS as well. I like it a lot. There isn't a ton of space for journaling, but if I have something I really want to say one day, I just write it below the day's write-up. It starts at conception, meant to be filled in as soon as your BFP, so you'll have 3 months empty (unless you have memories of different times you want to enter!)
A possibility was born the day you were born and will live as long as you live.

I bought it because it came highly recommended and I'm happy with it. Just one word of warning -- if you have more than 2 ultrasounds, plan ahead before you start writing and "convert" some of the dr. visit pages into ultrasound pages. There are a lot of dr. pages but only 2 u/s. My stuff is out of order now because I didn't realize it before I started writing. I really like it, though.
It it more like a guided scrapbook with room for pictures and spots to write notes to your baby. I love it because it is really helping me to remember and record a lot of the details of my pregnancy that I'm sure to forget later. I think the kiddies will like being able to read it when they get older.
It is neat because it has day by day updates and information about the growth of the baby and changes to your body. There isn't too much room journaling, it's more about recording your vitals such as weight and waist measurement, which I'd rather forget, so we're really using it as a guide for my husband to learn more about the changes the babies and I are going through every day.

I just ordered the free one as well.. can't review it yet but it takes 4-6 weeks to arrive.
I also got the Belly Book by Amy Rosenthal for my SIL when she was pregnant with my niece. https://www.amazon.com/Belly-Book-Nine-Month-Journal-Growing/dp/0307336182/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282533755&sr=1-1 It is really cute and she did a great job of turning it into a really detailed memory book for my niece to have when she gets older.
I picked out for myself the My Pregnancy Journal by Alex Lluch https://www.amazon.com/My-Pregnancy-Journal-Alex-Lluch/dp/1934386243/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1282533324&sr=1-3
