For those of who who have had a UTI what did it feel like? I have never had one before.
I know all the text book symptoms of UTI but I was just curious if sharp pains are part of it during PG. I think I may have a possible UTI but I am not 100% sure. I will go see a Dr but it is Sunday so I am SOL on that one unless I go to Urgent Care.
I had a suspicion of UTI for about a week but wasn't sure but now for the past 2 days I have been crampy and I have been having sharp pains (a lot of them occur during walking). There is no spotting so I am not concerned about that.
Re: Need advice about UTI
Nope, not on my end. The cramps/sharp pains are the only thing I have been having. That and sometimes having to pee and not a whole lot comes out but that is not so often so that is why I was ify on it.
Thank you. Agree to the hard to tell part in regards to the cramps.
I had chronic UTIs for about a year and a half. For me, in the beginning I only knew because my urine smelled funny; kind of a smokey organic smell. Then they started getting painful. I would go to the bathroom and there would be shooting pains up the urethra at the end of the flow. Then it progressed to urinating blood.
I had to have a cystoscopy because they thought I may have bladder cancer. Everything was fine and it turns out that the cycstoscopy flushed me out and I haven't had one since. I am at a higher risk for it happening again in pregnancy so I am a little terrified. So far I have been ok though. I hope you don't have one because they suck. If you suspect that you do, go in right away before it gets painful.
