Pressure in baby area

Hi ladies,

I'm feeling some pressure in my uterus area. It's very low. I can't really describe it other than pressure. It doesn't really hurt; its just weird and uncomfortable. I moved into a new place today and probably did way too much. Do you think that has something to do with it? Anyone else have any pressure like feelings? TIA!

  • You have no idea how relieved I am that you just posted this. We're moving this week too and the past couple of days we've been working really hard at getting as much packed and moved as possible. I've tried being careful, but I think I overdid it as well. Tonight I felt pressure in my abdomen too (as well as having a sore back and knees!) and was trying to figure out if it was okay or bad to feel that way. Maybe it is just the baby telling us to slow down?

  • I had something similar a couple of weeks ago after also physically overdoing it a little.  For me it felt like a strained muscle across my lower abdomen and apparently that's probably what it was.  I had it for about 5 days in a row.  My dr left me a voicemail saying that it's probably just my stomach muscles stretching out for what's to come.  She said as long as it's aching or like a pulled muscle feeling that I should just take some tylenol and not worry too much.  She said if it felt like bad menstrual cramps (which mine didn't), then to call her and come in.  Hope this helps...
  • I definitely get this pressure when I'm laying on my back I find myself to feel more comfortable on my sides , usually the pressure increase at night for myself. The uterus is just expanding thoughSmile for our babiessss
