hi,
i am 29 years old and my husband is 35... We have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months and no luck I have and my husband have got the standard tests ( blood hormone ect done ) and we are OK. I am not sure why we are not conceiving getting a bit worried... I exercise 4 times a week, eat healthy , my stress level is a bit high and we used to drink wine 6 days a week and now since we TTC we have limited to red wine on the weekend.. Just wine with dinner... Any advice? I have seen a infertility doc and she has found nothing wrong.. i am not sure if i should stop "trying " and go with the flow ... my only fear is that i am getting .
any advice would be great
Re: Trying to get pregnant
It took us years to conceive... no fun!
I would definitely suggest ovulation kits and charting, like PP mentioned. I have a 28 day cycle, so I assume for the first year that I was ovulating around day 14. Turns out I ovulate on day 11! So that was good to find out. Still took us a long time after finding that out, but I had fertility issues on top of it. If you guys both checked out at the docs, you should be fine! Keep trying and good luck

i used the basal thermometer - when i started trying i had been on the pill for 10 years and didn't have much of a regular cycle so when i started keeping track of my "cycle" and temp then it seemed to help.
good luck and don't worry or stress! it'll happen (easier said than done i'm afraid)
It can take an average healthy couple up to a year to conceive. Seeing a fertility doctor is jumping the gun a bit, IMO.
I would suggest a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility and/or a tutorial on fertilityfriend.com. Very helpful.
