That little pink line!

DH and I started trying for a baby in May. I thought it would take a long time and every month that it didn't happen was so hard for me. I was very lucky though because last week on Tuesday I got a BFP!! We still have not told my parents and I feel like I am going to explode keeping that info in. It was the best feeling telling DHs family and I really look forward to telling mine.

My symptoms started about 2 and a half weeks ago with breast tenderness and nipple pain. I later got more symptoms. My nipples started to change size and got more sensitive and painful. I felt like I was getting poked in the nipples by a needle every once in a while. Then shortly before taking the test I was experiencing pinching in my lower abdomen around my ovaries. I have also experienced bad headaches and mood swings (sorry DH!)

Now that I understand why my body is having these weird feelings I am enjoying them more.

My doctors office is great! they got me in to confirm 3 days after I took my test. I will be getting a phone call on Monday to set up an ultrasound appointment. Hopefully they can get me in soon so I can see my little poppy seed on screen!

I just wanted to say to all of those ladies out there who are still trying. Good luck. I know the feeling of wanting it so bad and going month by month and having nothing. Hang in there! Your time will come. Don't drive yourself crazy! My friend suggested I don't take a test until I miss a period and that was the best advice I have ever received. It took away that disappointment.
