I wasn't supposed to get another one after my 20 week u/s but I will be getting one on Wednesday because my doc wants to confirm that she's not breech.

I had one at 29 weeks and have another on Tuesday, just shy of 36 weeks. DS1 was diagnosed with "small for gestational age" when he was born. He was 5lbs 12oz born 3 days before his edd. My docs are concerned that I may have had IUGR so they are keeping an eye on this baby.

I got two because my dr was concerned that my fundal measurement was a few weeks ahead and he wanted to be sure the baby wasn't several weeks ahead in growth; I also have good insurance that will cover any u/s as long as it is coded right.

When I asked my DR around 30 weeks he said that it would be at 39 weeks... although I just had my 38 week apt and he didn't say anything about it and I completely forgot to ask him...

I am getting one at 36 weeks because I have been measuring 3-4 weeks ahead.

Mine is tomorrow :-)

But...I'm a high-risk pregnancy, so I get a lot more u/s than most people. This is my third growth u/s and I wouldn't be surprised if I had at least 1-2 more before I deliver.

mine is tomorrow at 36 weeks b/c of GD...though they are not concerned about her size - it's just what the office does with GD patients

I'm getting one at 30 weeks because we have a case of SUA. They (and we!) want to make sure she isn't growth-restricted.

This. We confirmed he wasn't breech. However a week after this ultrasound she decided to induce me next Tuesday b/c of baby being large and zero progress with my cervix.

I wasn't supposed to have one after 20 weeks but I've been measuring big so we had a growth u/s at 34 and 38 weeks. Not sure if we'll have another one before the baby comes.

I've been wondering about this too...my doc hasn't said anything about it, so I'm thinking they won't schedule one unless there is a reason for it.

It's weird having 3 of them before 20 weeks, and then not having one for so long!!

I had one at 32 weeks due to lack of weight gain and fundal height being off a couple of weeks. They wanted to be sure he was okay and he is. My doc said that since most people want to see LO again anyway, he sees if there is a medical reason to do another US if possible.

Every month from 22 weeks for me. Making sure I don't have TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) b/c mine are identical and share a placenta. So far, so good. Sucks laying there for the better part of an hour flat on my back though.
