Orgasmic Birth?

Just finished watching the show Strange Sex, and one woman gave her account of giving birth in a tub, no meds, and as she was delivering her baby she had an orgasm. Yes, an orgasm.

Now, I've been there and done that twice now and I gotta say, I did NOT feel anything like that. There are a lot of words I could use to describe delivery, and 'orgasmic' is not one of them. (Both times the epidural wore off JUST before delivery... do NOT get your epi early, ladies!)

I'm honestly curious... are there any 2nd time +'ers that have had this experience? I find it impossible.

    WELL that sure would be awesome if it was possible. i'm a first time mom so i'm not able to answer this question, but hey i gotta say that'd be pretty great.

    19 is out of the hospital so they are already talking about the next one.  One day her uterus is just going to plop down on the floor while walking around that house.

    I saw the movie Orgasmic Birth and it was rather odd.  I don't know how you could ever experience an orgasm while having birth.  Not saying it isn't possibly I just don't see how.

    For some reason that makes me kind of say "ew". Yes to orgasms but I wouldn't want to have one as a result of giving birth to my child, my brain just thinks it is creepy.
