    Ahhhhhhh! Can I please pretend that I did not just read that? I can not imagine that working in our household. Ever. The idea is actually pretty laughable. The idea that this woman lives like thay hurts my heart.

    geeez! i want to laugh- im sad that people actually do that- that women dont value themselves enough to allow that- that would be an absolute NO in our household- we work as a team- and will when the time comes parent as a team-

    Indifferent I don't even know what to say. I read some of the comments and it took me to other ladies with blogs. I can't stop looking at all the people that actually do this...whoa.

    I think they are getting the Biblical principles really twisted up. H and I are both Christians and this is NOT how it is supposed to work. At all. It seems to me that he acts more as a father to her than a husband. Wow. I can?t believe people actually live like that...

     Indifferent This is just beyond messed up. How does a couple ever grow together if the husband can put you into time out? And why is in the husbands hands? Absolutely insane that a woman would seriously let her husband do this, but the guys is a jackass for actually doing it. I can't imagine he doesn't enjoy it.

    I am all for everyone living there lives the way that makes them happy...I personally find this out there and demeaning and it is not something that I would ever enter into or be a part of...I guess these women enter into this willingly...Again not something I would do, but I don't want to be judgmental...Just not at all my style...

    Um, yeah.  DH and I are conservative Christians and I am all for submitting to your husband, BUT my DH respects me very much.  We are adults and if one of us does something that the other doesn't like we talk it out like adults.  We make decisions together (I am his helpmeet, not his child) and run our house together.  Now if there was something that he absolutely put his foot down I would yield to him unless I really thought it was wrong in some way, but I really don't see that ever happening b/c we always talk things through and work things out.

    I fully respect those who decide to go with the man as the head of the house philosophy.  The biblical idea that the man is charged with the responsibility for the well-being of his family is fine by me.  A wife obeying a husband who only has her best interest at heart plus the guidance of God isn't going to end up with him smacking her @ss for burning the toast. 

    Now, if they want to play naughty school girl and headmaster, well whatever floats their boat LOL!
