Just had a sad realization.

I've been blessed the last 4 years as my paths have crossed with 4 other couples that are all struggling with infertility. For the last 4 years we've shared the ups and downs - I could be honest about what I was feeling - and there was always someone else who understood.

I just realized tonight that I'm the last one.

I'm the last one.

They've all gotten pregnant.

I can't believe I'm the only was who's still in this.

And I can't complain too badly....they still understand and care for me on this journey. But they're pregnant, and I'm not.

I can't believe it.

I'm sending hugs your way. It's hard to feel happy for someone when you are so sad about your situation. I went through this Friday night with the couple we went out with. I hope you get your BFP soon so you can all share in the joy together.

Yes. I'm sorry. I'm sorry that this path is so long and treacherous for some people - often the people who are just the most awesome and loving people. And while I'm glad for your friends, I'm even more hopeful that you're right behind them.
