Heard our baby's HB today!

Today's appointment was fairly quick and routine, but they did draw 3 more vials of blood- they said it was for the AFP or multiple marker test, which I didn't know we'd be doing today. No biggie, though. The lab tech was awesome and I barely felt a poke. :) The best news of the day was that I've only gained 2 lbs so far. Woohoo! We also got to hear the baby's HB on a doppler- it was 150 and nice and strong.

Oh! We also scheduled our anatomy scan. We should know if we're team blue or team pink on September 17th. I can't wait!

    Glad it went well! I have to admit, I am bit jealous you got to hear the heartbeat... so far we have only seen it on the ultrasound machines- I am hoping this next appointment in 9/1, that we will finally be able to hear it!

    So glad it went well! I had my 16 week appt. on Thursday and my baby's hb was in the 150's too. I am excited for our anatomy scan as well! Ours is Sept. 16...so close to yours! Yay!
