Possibly a TMI question...NBR

Ok, so I was just wondering if any other ladies have experienced this:

A few days ago I had some semi-intense cramping on one side of my lower abdomen. I just shrugged it off not paying it any more attention than 'that's odd'. So, this morning when I get out of the shower I notice a little bit of blood coming out. Its super dark, like its basically purple. Its just slightly more than spotting, so I've been wearing a pad today just to observe the amount, and its basically like the last day of my period. So, not a whole lot.

Anyway, I realized I was bleeding this morning, and here it is night time and I'm still bleeding a little. And I still have a slight achy-crampy feeling. Sucks.

 I really don't think its my period, I am a 28 days to the day calendar girl (Meaning I'm always on time, never early or late) and today is day 14 of my cycle.

I really don't think its implantation bleeding, but I've never had it before so who knows...(Last time DH and I had sex was Wednesday, and it was protected...)

Argh! I just don't know what it could possibly be! Anyone else experience this? Please someone just tell me its nothing and that I'm crazy...lol.

    I have no clue what it could be. Maybe just a weird surge in hormones??

    Do u have an IUD?

    I ask because I went through this and when I asked the OB about it, she said the IUD could cause this....But this has happened to me twice and 1 being this wk! I kinda flipping out and thinking Im pregnant again! But that's because I have baby fever and want to try right now but FI' wants to wait =)

    If this cont. to happen call ur OB and ask what they think?

    you could have had a cyst that burst, causing the pain and slow bleeding. I've had a few and what you described sounds exactly like it. They're completely normal and nothing to worry about though!

    Thanks for the reply girls, you are definitely making me feel better. (For some reason, I was expecting someone to say 'OMG! This is how my horror story started'...Confused I'm crazy)

    And no, I don't have an IUD...so I know that's not the problem...hopefully it'll just stop and turn out to be nothing...

    Ooohhh...I sooooo just notcied this, Your siggy says Lilly P makes 3! My personlized tag says "Lily P" hehehehe...Lillie is my first name and 1 of middle names starts with a P! I couldn't spell it the Lillie because it wouldn't fit =)

    HA! That's so cool! LOL I really need to take that link out of my siggy....I haven't updated that thing in MONTHS. Oh well. And I think its cool that your name is spelled Lillie. Oh, and her P stands for Paisley :) in case you were wondering. Geeked
