I have given her pasta before, but the super baby food book says a year for tomatoes. Does this include jarred pasta sauce or is it just raw tomatoes? Thanks!
People do. I haven't. Mostly because I've read tomatoes can upset their stomachs and in the beginning my dd had a real sensitive stomach. I figure there's no hurry, so for now she just gets noodles with parmesian cheese on them. She loves that! I don't know if I'll wait until she turns one or not, but as of now, she hasn't had red sauce.

I read on wholesomebabyfood.com that if you do it before a year, you should make your own homemade sauce. You basically slice and boil some tomatoes and then puree them. When I did it, I added a little bit of oregano. For some reason they say homemade sauce is less acidic.
