Anyone decide to be "one and done" AFTER...

in Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months
having LO?  I never thought I'd only have one, but after having DD, we've both felt like we could now be done.  I just feel like I get everything I wanted as a mother from her, if that makes sense.  Not sure if we're done or not, but we're just going to assume we are until we feel the desire for another.

    Us!  We wanted 2 and now we're one and done.  It's hard work!!

    I go back and forth and I am sure my mind will change again. We decided not to TTC till at least Dec 2012 when I graduate and DS will be 3.5 years. I might be one and done by then.

    I thought I wanted 3. DH wants to start trying for #2 right now. I told him heeeeeeeeeeeell no! Haha, maybe it's because I'm a SAHM, but I can't imagine being spread any thinner than I am right now. DH is in school for 3 more years so it feels like It's never going to be the right time for anoher one.

    Us.  I think that we always assumed that we would try for two (since we each have 1 sibling), but after a hard labor that landed DD in the NICU for almost two weeks and me in the operating room (and DH scared out of his mind), our minds changed.  We are so content with our little family and don't feel like anyone is missing from it!

    I know what you mean about it will never be "the right time." DH and I need to really talk about it cause there would always be reasons not too.

    i always wanted 2 .. then had dd and decided that one isn't so bad after all. she MIGHT get a sibling but i'm not placing any sort of priority on it.

    I had always planned on having 2 children, but I lost my daughter in May at 29 weeks.  I'm probably one and done, because I don't physically or emotionally think I could have another one.

    ME! DH could still have another but he is open to the idea of being done. I am DONE. As in stick a fork in me and take me off the grill!

    Us.  I always just assumed I would have 2, but we are just so content as a family of 3.  We haven't ruled it out completely, but we are pretty sure we are done.

    Being an only child myself, I was one and done until DS turned 2.5yrs old then my biological clock started ticking and DD came along.

    Since we had major IF issues while TTC, I would have been perfectly happy with just having DS too.

    I don't want to be one and done but I might end up only having one since I am divorced.  I would love to remarry but I am not gonna just settle for any clown off the streets and right now I am focusing on just me and DD.  However since I am only 27 I have plenty of years ahead of me to have another if the time is right.  But I feel blessed to have a beautiful happy healthy and smart little girl so if it ends up one and done so be it she is a treasure!
