Foot in mouth at spin this morning

I felt so bad for one of the members at the gym this morning. This guy did come to my class alot last year, but I had not seen too much of him.

He wanders in today and as he is setting up his bike he commented to me, "Where have you been?" Me and a few others in the class just lol thinking he is joking because I have not missed a class all year. He goes on to say "You probably have not been here for the same reason I haven't been here. Our babies were born right around the same time...you must have your hands full." YIKES!

The members hung their heads or quickly let the spin room while I walked over and explained further. I felt so bad for this guy. He was so embarrassed. I energetically explained in my most positive tone that everything was fine and my day will come too.

Just when you thought everyone got the memo and you were in the clear....
