I am pregnant..

I officially finally believe it.  I have felt terrible because I haven't allowed myself to even get excited until now.  We had a miscarriage in May and I have just been so on edge and I have not allowed myself to get attached.  Well I had a heartbeat check this morning and I LOST it when I heard it.  This is the first time I have been emotional over this baby.  I have heard it three times before and even saw the tiny blob at 6 weeks at a sono but didn't believe it until today.  I am so happy and thankful and I am ready to start planning! 

So I also broke down and scheduled an early 3d sono for Sept 10th.  If they tell me the gender great, but that is really not why I am going.  I want to see a BABY.  My last sono at 6 weeks was a tiny blob, I am dying to see those arms and legs and profile.  Finding out the sex will be a bonus, but I will not be banking on it until my 20 week anatomy scan!

    That's awesome I think there are a lot of ladies starting to relax and enjoy this pregnancy.

     Glad you are on board today and hearing the heartbeat is such a wonderful moment.

    yay!!! I have an appt on wed and I am hoping that they say that my next appt will be the gender u/s since I will be 18wks instead of making me wait to 22wks.

    Oh me too!!  18 weeks they should do it!  How exciting :)

    Congrats!!! That is the best feeling in the word!! I really hope that you will be able to find out the sex of the baby!! That?s when it finally became "real" to me!! Lol

    That is so great. I know that letting yourself get excited after a loss is so tough. I'm glad you are finally to that point. Enjoy!
