BF & the pill

I'm BF and on the mini pill. I still haven't had a period. I just finished my first pack of pills. Anyone else in this situation still not have a period? Definitely not complaining, just wondering if it's normal since I always had a period when on the pill before becoming pregnant.

    No AF for me either and I'm 12 weeks pp.  I'm not complaining. ;-)

    The mini-pill won't cause you to start your period, because it is not a cycle of hormones like the regular BC pill.  Instead, it's just one dose of progesterone that is continuous throughout the month.  (You also don't have the week of placebo pills like you do on normal BC).

     It works by causing a thick mucus plug to form in your cervix, so it's really more of a mechanical means of BC.  So yeah, it won't cause you to have a cycle or to start your period.

    I have one week left of my 2nd pack & still no AF for me.
