Good morning. we have decided to adopt and would like to get the ball started. We prefer to adopt child(ren) that are in foster care but 100% legally available for adoption. I have requested the info pack from Dave Thomas foundation. Could you point me in the right direction? i know this process could take years and i'd really appreciate first hand knowledge. Thanks.
I always wanted to be a mom, I just didn't know how I would get there.
I would google any information regarding Nia Vardalos and her adoption. I know she and her DH adopted a child who was legally free for adoption (I don't know if that's the right terminology, it looks weird typed like that). I believe they used a national foundation, but it might be a good place to start for information.
