Change of mn.

Have any of you have experience with changing the middle name of the LO you are adopting?

Was it relatively easy, or paperwork pile galore?

Gavin is 26 months, if it matters.

    my husband and i adopted a teenager and changed his middle name (though he had say so in it) but it was not hard at all. Just told our attorney what we wanted it to be and how to spell it and she presented it to the judge at our finilization court day!!!

     DH is adopting my DS from a previous relationship. It isn't final yet but this is how our lawyer said it would work.

    We added to DD first name and changed her middle name. We just had the new name put on the paperwork for the adoption. We were asked at the hearing what old name was and what we wanted name to be. Actually DD told them what her new name was it was to funny.
