My 3 year old niece asked me...

why I had so many red spots on my face and if I had poison ivy.  Nice.  Thank you hormones.

  • Aww...

One of the kindergarten kids last year asked the student teacher if she had chicken pox (she had really bad acne- poor thing!)

  • yeah, I hear ya, I am a mess lately. My skin is super dry and red in areas and it looks like I have poison ivy.  Then I have some nice blemishes to add to the texture of my beautiful pregnancy face.

I think I am glowing like a toxic wast dump or something..it is nasty.  That and the 324929580985 lbs I gained just is not sexy.

  • I get the really huge ones that you can't get rid of on my neck. I'm tall and have a very long neck with very pale skin, so it's like looking at a fatal wound bullseye.

  • At least it was a 3 year old asking you.... I have a coworker who, upon finding out I am PG, said "Oh, no wonder your skin has been so bad." She didn't mean it to sound mean, but acne is one of those things I always like to pretend I am the only one who notices.... apparently not!
