Be By Baby classes?

Has anyone tried their classes?  I'm curious about the breastfeeding mostly I think.

Thanks!

  • For what it's worth I have heard great things, but I have no experience of my own. I'm planning ahead so I hope someone has some good information!

  • I just took a birth class at Bloom Yoga, which was worthwhile.  But I think the doula (Natalie Evans) who taught the class also teaches at Be By Baby, so their class is probably substantially the same.  One session of the 9 total sessions was dedicated to breastfeeding and taught by Malik Turley.  She was good - specific and obviously very passionate on the subject.  If you are not looking for an entire birth class or are not hoping to have a natural childbirth (so you wouldn't need a very in-depth birth class), I think you can somehow sign up for just the breastfeeding class separately.

  • I did a cloth diaper class there - thought it was pretty good for the money - $15
  • I just signed up for the natural birth class in Sept w/Natalie.  Realized I was too late to take a Bradley class and this one fit our schedule.  I've heard good things... keeping my fingers crossed!
  • I know you posted this forever ago, but I took the bf'ing class. I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about the class and the teacher.

I learned so much, and it really helped cheer me on in bfing.

  • Maybe you should check with the hospital you are delivering at, they may have a free class you can take.
