The Bass Concert Hall is essentially a really skinny, tall building. IMHO if you are going to "see" something the first balcony is good because you are up and still close to the stage but seeing anything from the second balcony is difficult due to being so high up. The only pro to those seats is the sound is great. When i go see the opera or other music groups I prefer to sit there for sound.
I sat in second to last row of the entire place to see NPR's "Wait Wait Don't tell me"... let's just say... I could see them better when I listened to the radio broadcast the following day. : )
