My doctor just called me back and I tested positive for MTHFR and Heterozygous Factor 5 Leiden. I will take 81 mg of baby aspirin per day and Folgard.
Dear Lord, please let these two little pills do the trick for me!
On a side note, AF never fully arrived and I am puzzled. Yesterday I had one trip to the restroom and I needed a panty liner, but it was never tampon worthy (this is when I created my AW post about AF because I assumed she was here). I have had no spotting since then and my temp this morning was back above my cover line. I still have killer cramps so I'm thinking that AF is still on her way and yesterday was just a preview of what I can expect in the near future. Check out my chart... Kinda crazy.

Honestly, there is a lot of debate over whether or not it's neccessary. I would ask, just to ask and have the info, but if your homocystine levels are normal, they may just not think it's needed.
That's crazy about AF, I hope your cramps get better soon!

i'm so glad they found something in the tests and that you have a plan. it's so weird not knowing if you want results, but wanting answers and a plan. keeping everything crossed that this does it for you!

Sorry you have MTHFR and Factor 5 Leiden, but at least they know and it can be treated! I was on the same things (BA and Folgard) and finally got my successful pg. I wish you all the luck in the world girl!
And I hope AF shows soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
