Spent all night in the ER- baby is okay though

Scary night!  I started to bleed heavy last night with some clots, so we immediately went to the ER.  I have had some spotting for the past month, but nothing like this.  We arrived at 10pm and spent 4 hours waiting until we finally got in for an ultrasound.  Thankfully the baby was just fine and measuring a bit ahead.  The technician even took a guess at the sex- most likely a boy!  Big Smile

They couldn't find any bleeding inside, and my cervix was closed, so they think it's my placenta lifting up and reattaching.  I went to the gym yesterday for the first time in a month and I wonder if I overdid it.  So, now it's bed rest for me for a couple days.  I'm waiting to hear back from my OB to see if they need to see me or have any additional restrictions.  I'm exhausted!!!

    yikes! how scary.  i'd use it as an excuse not to go to the gym Wink. that's just me, i don't really like working out. glad everything is okay with the baby.

    interestingly enough, i spent a couple hours in the er yesterday too. thankfully it was foot related and not baby related.

    Thanks all!  Had to go in to see the OB today- got another checkup- everything still looks normal, and the heartbeat was right around 150 bpm.  Also had to get a Rhogam shot- OUCH!  And right in the butt!! 

    OB says 2 weeks of restricted movement and pelvic rest and we'll reevaluate at my next appt in 2 weeks.
