I was wondering what kind of water everyone uses to mix with powdered formula...tap, bottled?
Do you boil your tap water and if so, do you then store it in the refrigerator until you are ready to mix a bottle, or do you leave it on the counter in a container?
If you use bottled water, can you just open a water bottle and leave it out until you make the next formula bottle, or do you refrigerate that water, too?
I really don't like waiting to heat bottles to room temp from cold (and neither does the baby), so I don't want to use anything other than room temp water. What should I use?
Re: what water do you use for formula?
We use tap water but we have good water. I asked our pedi and he said as long as you have good water in your area or aren't on well water then tap was fine.
We do use bottle water when we are out running errands just for convenience though and just make the bottle when LO needs it
We bought a bottle warmer and use that mainly at night. We keep a few ounces pre-made in the fridge and heat them to room temp. We don't use room temp bottles heated to warm becuase I don't want LO to get use to warm bottles and that's all he'll eat. He eats them room temp with out any problems.
you realize aquafina is nothing more than tap water right?
