Day Cares in Fort Myers

Any recommendations for day cares in Fort Myers?  I am starting to get stressed out because I feel there are just a few of "good" ones.  I want it to be clean and friendly.  Thanks.

  • I am looking for the same thing. Just by doing a google search, I came across the Grace Community School. I have no idea what their reputation is but I figure I would go check it out in the next month or so. Maybe we can go together. Please let me know if you come across any others. I have only lived in Florida for three years so I am still getting to know the area and which parts of Fort Myers to stay away from. I live closer to Estero but surprisingly, there are really none down here. I'm sure the further south you go, the nicer and more expensive they get.

  • Thanks for the reply.  My husband and I recently went to look at the Princeton Academy in Fort Myers - Gladiolus and Winkler area in South Fort Myers.  The place was very clean and looked nice.  They take newborns at 3 months which we will probably sign up for.  The teachers were very friendly and answered all our questions.  The baby room was pretty basic as I expected but cozy at the same time.  I am very particular about cleanliness and appearance and this place scored well for me.  I of course rather have an in home babysitter but it just costs too much.  This school is about $900 a month.  Let me know what else you find out.
