Does anyone know how this will affect pregnant passengers? I am flying to Texas on 10/1/10 and don't feel comfortable exposing the baby to radiation. I will talk to my OB about this at my next appt but I was just wondering if anyone had more information.

still worth talking to your OB.
The government has admitted to storing the body scans even though the TSA claims both by signs and verbally that they do not keep them:

And by most accounts it is a low radiation xray posing health risks and lawsuits have been filed:

I could go on and on....
I'll take a pat down any day to a blurry nude photo that the govenment may or may not be keeping. That skeeves me out!

I'd take the photo over the pat down...I'm guessing names aren't attached to them. [Are they?]
I'd rather have a stranger ogle a blurry photo of me than get felt up by some TSA agent who probably never changes their gloves or washes their hands!
This! They can look and my blurry lumpy arse all day but I dont want them touchin me!
