Update on P's rash and I need more help please!

Couple days ago I posted about Parker's diaper rash. I took him to the pedi, she gave us a rx cream. (pharmacy didn't have it so they had to order it, I'll get it today. Now the last 2 days he has had super loose stools. I have been nursing more often with less solids to help my supply, but even when he was just nursing, no solids, they weren't this loose. Does this warrant another call into the dr? Any ideas? TIA! (1ht on iPhone)

  • B--I wish I could be there to see him myself, but this sounds like classic teething to me. Is he exhibiting any other signs of teething? The worst diaper rashes my boys have ever had have come around teething times. Same goes with the loose stools.

I'd only call the pedi back if he starts showing signs of dehydration and/or fever over 102.  Otherwise, I'd try and stick it out for a while.

  • C- he is most definantly teething. We had the yip left tooth break through a few days ago. I do however believe that the blisters on his bum are from asparagus. :-( what are the signs of dehydration?
