When did your baby change hair? My daughter has had the exact same hair since she was born. It doesn't grow, and it doesn't seem to fall. Is this normal?
Do you think a haircut could help her hair to grow better? I think it probably wouldn't make any difference as your hair is genetically determined, but I'm open to try a haircut if someone has tried it successfully.
Re: Baby hair
My daughter was born with thick brown hair, then it all fell out. After that, her hair grew really slowly, until she was about 18 months, then it started growing faster. It's totally normal. She has a nice thick head of hair now.
This is her at just over 1 year old.
It just depends, everyone's different. Both my kids were born with quite a bit of hair, neither of them had their hair fall out. DD's got lighter, so her dark baby hair looked like a bad dye job growing out.
I had short baby hair until I was almost 2. And it was light blonde so I looked pretty bald.
Haircuts don't make hair grow. I cut DD's hair at 5mo because she had a mullet. If her hair doesn't look bad, I wouldn't cut it.
haha! I cut T's bangs because she looked like Eddie Munster.
Her hair was dark dark when she was born, but she was still kind of thin on top. It all fell out as it slowly grew back in, so we had a fuzz-head for a while. The top is finally growing in, but we still call her Billy Ray.
