So, I've peed on multiple sticks this week...regular and digital all with lightening fast results of "pregnant." I mean a super dark line and a digital pregnant almost immediately and DH keeps saying "I don't know if that's really true...I think you need independent confirmation." Anyone else have a DH that thinks HPTs aren't correct? It's kinda funny actually.
Anyway, we're both excited and to be honest a bit freaked out.
Re: DH doesn't belive HPTs are accurate
I would just call the dr and get a blood test. that's what i did when i got my first +HPT. Then maybe he'll believe it

My freshman roommate didn't believe in gravity. That wasn't normal either. He's being weird. They're going to give you a regular test at the OB. They're crazy accurate if you get a positive.
Edit: What is independent confirmation? Should HE pee on a test to see if it tells him he's pregnant?
My husband says anything significant in life that you can by at the dollar store he doesn't trust!
LOL
My husband looks at the Clear Blue Easy Digital test that says "PREGNANT" and says to me "Did you see this?"
This is BAD. If a man pees on a test that turns positive, that means testicular cancer, I believe. Not completely sure...but it's not good.
If you go to the doctor, they most likely will not test your blood, but give you a HPT. So that's that. You're too early for the baby to show up on an ultrasound, too, so you really can't get much more confirmation until 6 1/2 weeks and on. HPTs have always been my answer...
LOL!
