Day Care/Nanny Share

Was wondering if anyone would be interested in a nanny share in the Buena Park/Uptown/Irving Park area.  We are due April 15th so we would be looking for something starting in late July early August depending on when he gets here. 

 Or if anyone has recommendations on daycare centers or homes in that area for infants.

    Agree with PP, but I'm also looking for a nanny share in Andersonville, but to start in September.  We can talk if that's something you would be open to.

    Hi!  I'm seriously considering a nanny share as well.  I live in the Ravenswood/ Andersonville neighborhood.  I'm due May 21, so we would be looking for the middle of August or so.  Are you wanting to have the nanny come to your house or the other families?

    I'm actually a Nanny (earning my Master's Degree in Education, however it's on hold with the little one coming) and am looking for a family to work with. I'd be bringing my baby to work, but would give a reduced cost or split the cost of what it normally would cost to do a nanny share- does that make sense?

    If you're not having luck here finding a nanny share, I highly recommend visiting npnparents.org - great resources, that's where we found our nanny and share family. GL!

    Hello -

     I live in the Roger's Park area (Albion and Sheridan) and am due 9/7. I work in Evanston and will be returning back to work 6 weeks after the baby comes. Just wondering if you were still looking for nanny work or maybe you have the option to nanny share? Please let me know what you think if you have a moment. This would be really convenient if the opportunity is still available.

    Hi! I am a nanny seeking a new nannyshare position. I have been with my current family for the past 2 yrs and while I have loved being a part of their family they unfortunately will no longer need me come Sept. I have recent newborn and multiples experience. In my current position I take care of a 2 and a half yr old and an 8 month old full time and I also have a 9 month old 3 days a week. I have had both babies since they were newborns( 1 was 7 wks the other was 11 wks, they are 1 month apart in age). I can provide many excellent references, and I am willing to get recertified in cpr and first aid. I also have a degree in Child Development and I know baby sign language. My experience includes over 20 yrs of working with young children including babysitting, work in childcare centers(mainly as a lead infant/toddler teacher), and nannying(including nannyshares). I am not the type of sitter to just sit your child in front of the t.v. I will keep your child/ren engaged with lots of fun and stimulating activities. I try to get outside at least once a day, provided the weather is decent. I also do alot of art and sensory projects. I enjoy going on outings to the museums, parks, zoos,etc. I try to set up playdates with similar aged children, and I am willing to take children to classes or appts. I read alot to the children in my care, even the newborns. :) I don't mind doing light child related cleaning, such as child's laundry, keeping play areas neat, cleaning child's dishes,etc. If you are interested in learning more about me, please feel free to send me an email, meweaz@hotmail.com.
