s/o teething - Sophie the Giraffe

I just got our Sophies in the mail today and mams-to-be, I have a message for you: YOU NEED ONE OF THESE!

I'm not really a huge follower of baby trends - I think most of them are either unnecessary or have a cheaper alternative that's just as good. But OMFG Sophie the Giraffe is amaaaaazing! We have other teething toys and my boys are just NOT interested in them in the slightest, but they both fell in love with their Sophies in under a minute.

Seriously, put one on your registry RIGHT NOW. And if no one buys it for you, buy it yourself. It is that awesome!

    Haha, I just bought ours online yesterday! We don't need it yet but I wanted to have it ready =) now we're just waiting for it to ship. Glad to hear your boys love it so much! And yay on the teething milestone!

    I think I got Samara her Sophie when she was around 3 and a half months and she wouldn't really take a LOT of interest in it. However, I was like "Hey, kid...at $35 a pop, you WILL love this damn thing!" and kept sticking it in her hand/mouth.

    Now she loves it, when she sees it her eyes go wide and Sophies head disappears in her gob lol.

    this was our experience too.  he liked to hold it when he was younger, but now when he sees Sophie, her head disappears!

    wow i didn't realize she cost so much more in Aus! and i thought the $20 here was expensive (though i got mine w/a bn.com coupon for $14)

    So glad the boys took to them so quickly, that is awesome.  Didn't.. was it Malia? refer to them as baby crack? :)  We rec'd one as a gift so I'm curious if our LO loves it as much as most.  My nephew doesn't love his Sophie, give or take with him (he's 6 mos. now).

    Yes... Baby crack. But now Alexa is bored with her Sophie. She used to LOVE it but now she has no interest... And NOW she is really teething! Doh!

    Yeah, I actually ended up buying mine from the UK and getting them shipped here - it was cheaper than buying them locally!

    I think part of the reason our boys love them so much is because they're so young - a lot of the teething rings are big heavy clunky things, and they're awkward for them to lift and position to chew on. But Sophie is so light and has so many angles that they can easily move her around can chew on just about any part that they aim at their mouths. Stick out tongue
