  If you're a Christian mom consider a MOPS group.  If you attend a local church they may have a group.  If not then you can find one on the MOPS International site.  I'm part of MOPS and it's been such an awesome experience for me.  I moved to this part of town a year and a half ago and I credit my MOPS relationships for making the transition so easy. 

  I'm about to start back up with StrollerFit (NW/Champions) here in a few weeks (I had my 2nd little girl in early July).  It's a fantastic workout and again it's been a great way to make/forge friendships.

  I own the SF group in Champions that KelleyA was talking about.  After I had my first kiddo this was the best way for me to meet other moms.  I don't know The Woodlands owner, but I encourage you to send her an email and check it out.  If you have any questions let me know.  Congrats on your kiddo.

  I just signed up for MOPS at Stone Bridge Church in the woodlands (Gostonebridge.org), I've heard great things about them.

  This was going to be one of my suggestions. 

  also, The Woodlands United Methodist has many offerings for moms.  I know they have daytime bible studies (where you can use the church nursery for child care)
