Do you go for walks with your LO in a carrier?

Last night my husband and I tried to go for a walk with our LO and he was not happy in his stroller.  My husband ended up needing to carry him half the time.  We have a dog that has been getting less exercise since the baby has been born.  I would love to be able to take her for a walk with our son in the Ergo.  Do any of you do this?

    Yep!  Monday night I was coming home from the dentist and saw DH walking the dog with our LO in the Baby Bjorn : )  I have also taken walks with him in the Moby wrap.

    Yes!  DD & I both LOVE our Ergo.  We use the infant insert right now.  It's perfect for walks.  She falls asleep every time.  The insert provides a cushion for her neck/head while she sleeps.

    DD1 born 5/24/10.

    Missed M/C at 14 wks Feb 2012.

    DD2 born 5/14/13.

    Missed M/C at 9 wks July 2015.

    Expecting someone new 4/17/17.

    Yep, at night when ds just wants to be held (otherwise he screams bloody murder) I just take him outside and walk him in the Bjorn. I have the Ergo which I can not wait to use but I didnt buy the infant insert.

    This is me, too. So for now, we use the car seat in our stroller--and take her on a walk like that. We also have a dog who has been exercise & attention-deprived since LO was born. We make a point to go when the weather is nice out.

    I wish V liked being in a carrier.  I have a moby and an ergo and she hates both.  Really stinks because I have a dog that isn't getting much exercise anymore.....

    I have a babyhawk and a moby.  We use both for walks all the time.  I like the babyhawk better now, and preferred the moby when he was brand new.

    Yes, I've used the BabyBjorn.  Haven't tried with the Moby yet, since it's been hot

    yup, in the moby. she sleeps the whole time.

    op- my dd can't make it all the way through a walk in her stroller either. in fact, i've started wearing her in stores too. it's given us some semblence of a normal life back.

    i even wore her during a matinee movie with dh yesterday. :p
