TTC After a Loss 6 Months+

I need a whole lot of motivation

I feel very out of sorts these past couple of days, and had a few realizations yesterday that zapped any sort of motivation I had. I hate getting in moods like this. Any tips on how to cheer the fvck up? Or get motivated?

    Booze?

It's 7:58am here. I'm sure if I started drinking now, I'd be wasted in an hour and a half, which would make for a very loooong work day.

Yeah, I think that's the best advice I have, too.

Sorry, Carrie.  I hope it gets better...

  • A new eyeliner or haircut?  Most of the time that works for me.

  • Turn on your favorite song and rock it out! I do this when I'm in the car and the looks on some faces crack me up... You'll never see those people again, so who the eff cares!

Yeah, never underestimate the healing, ass-kicking, power of music. Of course, a little retail therapy never hurts, either. Or a new haircut.

I hope you find whatever motivation you need! I'm bad with it myself.

I prefer a little something called carisoprodal.  And coffee.  Nothing like muscle relaxers and uppers to start your day.

Clearly, we are a TON of help, aren't we?  ;)

Good loud music on an iPod?

  • I either turn up the music really loud and sing along or go shopping or both.

  • Fvck and booze usually try booze before the fvck so you can thoroughly enjoy yourself.  I find that fvcking really gives me lots of energy and when I feel connected emotionally/physically to DH I feel like I can take on the world.
