Chart's in siggy...how bad is it? The test didn't get any darker this morning, either, but my pee was a lot more diluted than it was the other times I've POAS. Do you think this could end up a chemical pregnancy?
Temps can be wonky after you gp. And the darkness of the line in the test isn't indicative of amount of hcg rise, because the test may just have less dye. Quit poas and temping, you are just gonna make yourself crazy. Just try not to worry and enjoy being pregnant.

What is the cause of your many open circles? (I am guessing it is temping at outlying times.) Because that is all you have over the course of a week, I don't think you can rely on your temps at all. Wed is the outlying temp and it the only temp in a week+ that is a solid circle. I think that my be the cause of your problem right there.
If you temped at the same time each day, the reality is that this might indicate a loss (it did for me). But, the most likely answer is that your chart just is wrong. When you don't temp at the same time for one day-eh no big deal. When you've gone 10 days, it throws out any pattern you might spot.
I do agree with PPs about HPT lines not indicating anything other than + or -. I have NEVER gotten a dark line on a test. They are not meant to work in a qualitative way.
I really wouldn't rely to much on the temps. After I got my BFP I stopped temping because I knew it would drive me crazy!
Have you gotten any bloodwork done yet?
Oh, and the first couple of pregnancy tests that I took the line didn't really get much darker those first couple of days. I was using the cheapie internet ones.
I stopped temping, but have continued to POAS every morning.. Every 2 days seems to get noticeably darker. Has the line been getting lighter each morning?? Or is it just today that the line isn't darker? A friend did have a chemical pregnancy and each day she POAS, it did get lighter. Her 1st was really dark. Then when she got pg with her DS, it got darker and darker each day. Hope it is just that it was diluted.. GL!!
def stop temping. a higher temp can't tell you if you are PG or not. and the same thing with a HPT. it all depends on the dye. just call your doc to have a PG confirmation test.

Thanks, ladies, I needed to hear all that. You're all totally right, and it's all the same advice I'd have given someone else in my shoes, but it's hard to let go of the worry when it's you, kwim? I'm done with the pee sticks and the temping, I need to let it go. What's going to happen will regardless. I was able to get my beta bumped up from Monday to this Friday, so at least I won't be sitting around all weekend just wondering. Of course, one beta won't tell me much, but at least it'll be something.
And *kendrick*, my temps are all over the place b/c my DD's been teething, so I've been up quite a lot with her, and I'm a terrible sleeper anyway.
