First time asked...

So I went to pick up dinner and the girl at the restaurant (complete stranger) asked me how far along I was?!

Ok I guess it's kind of a compliment in disguise but I'm only 16 weeks!  I didn't think it was that noticeable.  Maybe because I have a empire waist shirt on (not even maternity wear)... but it was a bit shocking.

Anyone have this experience? Should I be worried I look too big!

  • I wouldn't be worried at all! I think it's kind of flattering. I'm almost 16 weeks and don't look pregnant. People don't believe me even a little bit when I tell them how far along I am. I can tell a difference, but apparently no one else can. It's frustrating so count yourself lucky!

  • Barely 14 weeks and had a store teller warn me about using a product because "you shouldn't use it when your pregnant."  It was both exciting and depressing.

  • I'm jealous now.  I've been so sick that I've lost a lot of weight and all people tell me that I look so skinny.  Prepregnancy, I'd have loved to hear that.  Now?  Not so much.

  • I'm in the same boat as you! Nobody believes me but I can tell a huge difference and so can my jeans!!
  • I will be 16 weeks on Saturday and got asked by a lady at Home Depot Monday night if I was close to my date!  I'm clearly showing already with my first, but definitely not close!!
