Yet another question that would be more appropriate for my assigned nurse, but whatever:
After the embryo transfer, how will I know if I'm pregnant?
I know. That's a beyond stupid question but hear me out... will the drugs in my system give me a false positive? Does it depend on the drugs? Can I POAS at 10-14 DPO(well, past transfer) or are the days different than a typical ttc cycle?
Sorry again for the stupidity of the above question.
Re: IVF and POAS testing question
8/08 BFP resulted in m/c
3/09 Polyp removed and dx MTHFR (both copies)
6 Clomid cycles, all BFN
5/09 IUI#1 with Clomid=BFN
6/09 IUI#2 with Clomid=BFN
8/09 IUI#3 with Clomid=BFN
IVF#1 = BFN
IVF#2 = BFN
IVF#3 ET 2 Grade A blasts 11/16/11
Beta #1: 485
Beta #2: 2,495
Thanks. Honestly that scares the crap outta me... well, a lot about this process scares me. But I think the only thing that would suck more than a BFN at the end of September would be a BFP followed quickly by a BFN.
Yes, I can honestly say that was not a good day.

Hope my response didn't sound flippant... I can't imagine how much that sucked.
May I jump in? I'm with Luna.....don't bother testing, just wait for your beta. I too thought I had tested out my trigger during an IUI and ended up with a false positive. It was 14dpiui too. One would think it would have been gone by then.
Good luck!!! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
