obstetricians in Howard County

Hello all-I am relatively new to the area.  My husband and I are talking about TTC soon, and I am looking for an OB/GYN in Howard County-any recs?  Would love an all female group if possible-so far the one I have found is Seton Medical Group-anyone have any experience with them?

Thanks!

Re: obstetricians in Howard County

  • I go to Drs. Esposito, Mayer, Hogan & Associates a large practice in Columbia, located in the new Medical Pavilion next to the hospital. I have only been for my first 3 appointments and see the midwives and love them. I started here when I was TTC as well based on recommendation from my 3 sister-in-laws. It is a big practice, but they have alot of experience, and the midwives are all women, but they have doctors too in case they are needed. Good luck!

  • The Seton Medical Group office is Women's OB-Gyn.  I'm still TTC, so I have no experience with their maternity practice yet, but I really like them for regular gynecological services.  I've been seen by a nurse practitioner that is absolutely fantastic.  They deliver at St. Agnes, if that matters to you.

  • I was extremely happy with Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Columbia.  There's one man (and three women), but the man actually ended up being my favorite.

I would avoid Womankind in Ellicott City.  I didn't have a good experience there for a routine annual exam a few years ago.
