Too much AW'ing

A girl I know (my sister-in-law's sister-in-law) just got married. She is generally a very AW'ish person.

She posted her wedding photos on FB today and so I went through and commented on a bunch of them. Then I noticed her status update:

"Hey you guys: Ok, so to see the pictures that I posted... (the 153 of them)... go through my albums... then you can comment on them!"
 
This was WAY too much AW for me. I went back and deleted all of my comments. Embarrassed The bitterness in me won tonight.

    Ya dude, don't ask people to comment on your pics!!! That's freakin ridiculous.   And you get a bitterness pass that lasts ... FOREVER because of what we've gone through!

    Go see my pictures so you can comment. Wow, people never fail to amaze me. Good for you for deleting them. I almost feel bad that she derives her self esteem from Facebook comments.

    I can't stand AWs.  They are one of my biggest pet peeves.  Good for you for deleting your comments! 

    Hopefully she has her FB settings set to send her emails when she gets comments.  That way she will know that you deleted them.  Maybe she will get the point, although probably not.

    I was going to say the same thing.  This just happened to me this week (someone commented, then changed what they wanted to say) and I got 2 emails - one with the original (deleted) comment, and one with the changed one!
