So I'm a little annoyed when we shared the possible name for our baby girl to our in laws and the comment we got was something like "well that's not a biblical name" wow, how do I respond to comments like that with out being rude?!! BLAAA.
Ugh, I hate it when people make such a big deal out of non-biblical names. My MIL wants all her grand kids to have name that means purity, get off your high horse woman!
tell them ur child will be a sinner! jk...my stepbros hv biblical names, my stepmom did not like ashton for our lo but i said well, i am glad I am having her and not you. (smile)
Do they think all babies should have biblical names?
Does you dh have a biblical name?
They are SUPER religious so that's what I'm thinking the comment comes from but I dont see why those type of opinions are necessary, not unless they are asked for it you know? My mom is super religious too and I dont see her giving me crap about the "none" biblical name. And yes my DH does have a biblical name, funny thing he is the one who picked out our daughters name.

When people ask what the baby's name will be and you give them a response... I don't understand why they interpret that as an invitation for them to share their opinions about the name.
If you asked "What do you think of our baby's name" ... that would ba a totally different story... but I would bet money that you didn't ask them that:)
Re: It's not a biblical name? SO WHAT?!
