When did you get your first post pardum period? Still haven't yet
Also, this might be a dumb question, but do you need to use some kind of BC before you have your first period? Yes, you ovulate BEFORE you ever have a period, so if you aren't looking to get pregnant then yes, you would need to have a method of BC before you get your period.
ETA: Yes, it was heavier and crampier than before. I only had 4 periods before I got KTFU again, but it seemed like each time it was getting a little lighter.
I just got my first one PP on Aug. 1, so for me it was roughly 3 months after G was born....And I EBF, so I thought maybe I would not get it so soon but I did....
Mine was extremely light and no cramping which is not what it use to be...it lasted 3 days...we will see what next month brings.....
It was exactly 6 weeks to the day after dd was born. It was HORRIBLE!!!! A lot more painful and a lot heavier. And that has been the norm for the 3 years since then. I miss my pre-dd periods!!!
And yes, I would definitely use SOMETHING because after a baby, you're super-duper fertile.
I got my first PP period at 8 weeks. Lame. I am an EBFer and am having 35 day cycles like clock work. It is way heavier now and lasts 6 days. So not what I am used to pre -Karter.

Mine was at 6 months, almost to the exact day.

Yes to the BC question.
With Ian I got my first PP period at 8 weeks. With M, I still haven't got one yet. Your Dr will probably discuss bc at your 6 week follow up.
