My son is a bottomless pit.

My 5 week old is waking up every 2 hours to eat a good 2 or 2.5 oz. Anyone else having this issue? I feel like this can't be normal.

    Daniel was like that too. Don't worry, it'll even out and he'll go longer stretches.

    My little man woke up every 2 hours last night hungry.  He took 3oz the first time, and then 1.5 - 2.5 oz every 2 hours after that.  And he's not even 2 weeks old yet.  As young as he is, I feel this is a bit much....but our pedi said to "feed on demand", so that's what I'm doing.

    I wouldn't be too worried.  My DS is 5 weeks and he eats 4.5 to 5oz every 3 hours.  He is 12lbs already.  I feed him when he is hungry and he pushes the bottle away when he is full.  I say keep feeding that sweet baby whatever he wants.  He is a growing boy! :o)
