Trying to Get Pregnant

Never thought I'd say this

But THANK GOD AF is here! It has been a long July and August so far waiting to be able to TTC again. Goodness gracious. :)

So I'm drinking my cup of green tea and happily going about my day. :) I did have one question for you ladies: I know pomegranate juice is supposed to help thicken your lining, but I'm a low sugar diet. Does pomegranate juice have tons of sugar in it?? If so, is there another way to help with your lining?

Thanks so much everyone, hope you're having a great day so far!

  • I just checked my bottle of POM and it has 32g of sugar per 8oz serving. Some ladies here eat pineapple core from O until O+5 (I think...haven't really looked into it much).

  • Glad you can finally move on!

I've read that both estrogen and progesterone affect your lining. I guess it would depend on which one you or your Dr think you are lacking. There are some herbal supplements that help with uterine lining like raspberry leaf tea or you could try synthetic progesterone. I've also read vitamin C is good too. I would speak with your doctor first before adding anything to your regimen, especially if you are taking anything else. You have to be careful with OTC progesterone, so I wouldn't suggest taking that unless it's an Rx that your dr can monitor. I've also read that estrogen helps with uterine lining and you can affect that with some soy.
